Must Eat Out Less.

Or at least start excercising more... pfff. Yesterday, a good friend of mine was in Amsterdam, and I had made reservations for the Arabian theme restaurant Nomads. The place has some really nice decorations (see picture) with matrass like thingies where you can sit or rather lounge on. Shoes of course need to be removed first. There are two rooms, one with light, see-through curtains from the ceiling and one in a circular form. The place is great fun when you're with a group, as you can all sit on one of the big matrasses and enjoy your dinner there. Accompanying the meal in the circular room is music (plus dj plus people smoking... bah) and later in the evening a bellydancer, which surprisingly enough wasn't that tacky given the surroundings.

The meal starts off with you washing your hands in rosewater - the staff pours the water for you from a small can. The menu consist of quasi middle eastern food, tiny portions of various dishes. Do order something a la carte though, I don't think that the fixed menu is such a good value for money. I think I could def. recommend Nomads if you go with a group of friends; hang out on the matrasses, get a bottle of wine, enjoy the lovely surroundings and have your conveniently portioned food with your friends.
