Chop, Chop, Chop, Chop, Chop....

Realizing that there was a bit of a mismatch between my liking of Thai food and my cooking skills (cough cough), I decided that the only course of action open was to enroll into one of the many cooking courses here and learn to prepare at least one dish well. Plus, you get to play with knives!! Simply irresistible!


Beating any expectation that I might have had in the beginning, I actually succeeded tremendously. Yes, the skill to make two, yes TWO!, Thai dishes are now fully mine. No fingers were cut.



So... when I get back in about 10 months or so, I can boast the ability to create one curry (red or green... hm, hey, so actually THREE dishes!) and one very tasty waterchesnut dessert! Seriously, though, that waterchesnut dessert is actually really tasty. I've been told that it's quite similar to Japanese desserts, so now, I feel compelled to try more of those as well...
