I arrived in Santiago about 3 weeks ago. My feeling for the seasons is completely messed up. Santiagio is in Autumn now, about to go into winter. So far, In the beginning of my trip I passed through the middle-east, where it was warm, then I was in South-East during November and December, still warm. In January, however, I was in India, were it was cold. After that, China, which was both warm and cold, then the south of the US & Mexico where it was incredibly warm. And now Chile, where it is slightly cold... with from time to time: rain!
Santiago is a nice city. I like it a lot. There are some very good restaurants and other than some cities, it is clean and you feel safe. I spend about two weeks in Santiago, learning Spanish. I´m happy to say that I´ve now progressed a level. There was an exam and everything, so it is official. I´m no longer a complete beginner, I am now a more advanced beginner! yay! :/
