My flight details have been changed oh so slightly; it looks like I may be spending a day or so in Havana as well next year! The latest status of my initerary just dropped in my mailbox - tickets can only reserved 1 year in advance, so some of my flights were using fictitious dates uptill now - and I noticed a minor change. No longer do I have a direct flight from Mexico to Chile, but instead I will make a minor detour to Cuba (mental note: arrange visa!). Airlines... logic... I haven't discovered it yet.
Preparation for the trip are coming along nicely, only a few more items remain on the checklist:
* Receive final batch of vaccinations
* Rip CDs to mp3s (very important!)
* Check and replenish first aid kit
* Get some essential travel accessories: sunglasses!
* Get some clarity on mystifying Dutch collective insurance situation
* Move my stuff to storage.
