Bright side indeed

A bit more on the missed flight... as it now turns out, I was actually quite lucky. Should I have taken that flight, then I would have been trapped in the South of Peru since last week tuesday as a result of a miners strike. There are some 5,000 miners on the main road surrouding some cities. the goverment has declared a state of emergency in the area, ordered in police, is sending in ships with food and started to airlift tourists out since this saturday.
